Setting my alarm for 3am so I can head to CPAC where I won’t even see Donald Trump because he bailed 🙄. But nevertheless she persists: Catch me chasing down creators of all stars and stripes to deliver you an inside look at the conservative jamboree in the midst of a MAGA Civil War.

No like this is crazy

Let’s talk about Druski’s plausible deniability with his latest viral skit.

But first: If you’re thinking to yourself “wtf is a Druski, I’ve never seen that before” — yes, you most certainly have! Druski is one of the top ranking, highest paid, and most engaged-with creators on social media. You’ve seen him in ads for Dunkin, Google, T-Mobile, PrizePicks, etc.

But he’s really carved out his niche through a series of increasingly outlandish skits — woke rappers be like, girl who eats hot Cheetos in class, that one male nail technician. His high-flying megachurch satire has 70M views on TikTok alone. According to Chad Ochocinco (wild name to invoke in 2026), Druski’s on a “creative generational run.”

That creativity has taken him to some very unexpected places, chief among them: a NASCAR race in head-to-toe whiteface (pasty-person sunburn included). The majority of the video’s millions of viewers ate this shit up as the parody it’s supposed to be. Overalls on, chest out, cig lit, redneck motion.

After a Soul Train skit flopped in February (16M views, how embarrassing), he decided to get back in the makeup chair. “How Conservative Women in America act 🇺🇸😂” will probably reach 100M cross-platform views by the time you read this. And I know what you’re thinking. Yes … that is definitely supposed to be Erika Kirk.

Here comes the plausible deniability: Druski, to my knowledge, has never said anything, like, remotely political. So to pivot to deep political parody of a figure that half the country views as off-limits is a big deal and obviously requires a well-thought out social strategy. He wanted this video to reach the people it would piss off.

We know that because, in addition to his usual #druski #funny caption, he added: #politicstiktok #politicalcomedy and #conservative. By choosing to exclude Erika’s name specifically, he’s actually able to redirect any criticism onto the viewers writ-large if the TPUniverse comes at him. “I never said it was her! The audience did!” I think this is why he reposted 61 TikToks from mostly random accounts making that connection for him.

To protect himself double, none of the very clear references to Erika’s most dissected moments and mannerisms — 🤟 signs, camera stares, ALO leggings — use her exact words. It’s like his production team put every word she actually used into a thesaurus and built a script from there.

So all these small creators, trying to get their moment in the digital sun, claiming Turning Point is gearing up for a defamation lawsuit? Druski’s team is 10 steps ahead making sure that can’t happen. Plus, we just saw how that worked for the prodigal father of digital satire. The Afromanissance is upon us!

A whole bunch of new eyes here today! Our paid tier is only $6/mo … something to think about.

OFFENSE, DEFENSE, NONSENSE

As you can imagine, people are having a Totally Normal One about this. Let’s run through some popular takes.
